Anatomy & Physiology Lab 05: Drug Dosage & Chemotherapy - Durable
Students will test different dosages of a new chemotherapy “drug” on liver cells. The effectiveness of the liver cells breaking down hydrogen peroxide and producing oxygen is used to measure the efficiency of the drug. This is a very simple set-up that uses balloons to capture the oxygen and timing when the balloons “stand up” to determine adequate oxygen production.
