Lab 7a

• Although gasses are not a specific focus of NGSS there are many of the concepts within NGSS which apply to the gasses. It is important to have students study the creation of CO2 in order to study atmospheric chemistry. In this lab students will create gas in two different ways. They will use organisms (yeast) to create CO2 and they will also burn a candle to release CO2.
